Snow Birds 2009-2010
So far we have the following dates for the 2009 snowbird season (Look for more dates as they become available):
October 20, 2009 at Woodholme
October 27, 2009 at Country Club of Maryland, 11:00 am starting time
November 3, 2009 at Sparrows Point
November 10, 2009 at Hobbits Glen
November 17, 2009 at Suburban
December 1, 2009 at Towson Golf and Country Club
December 8, 2009at Hayfields Canceled due to weather
Just a reminder about procedures:
- The first tee time will not be before 9:00 am.
- You will play in the order that you sign in at the golf course.
- Frost delays are possible.
- You cannot play with more than a 25 handicap, but your actual handicap can be higher than 25. In other words, you’ll be playing to a 25 handicap or less.
- Carts are $25.00.
- There is a $5.00 fee for the Snowbird season. Please give Beth Bahel your $5.00 as she is in charge of the Snowbirds this season. Anyone that played last year does not have to pay the $5.00 again this year.
- Lunch will be available at the golf course, so please help support the clubs hosting the snowbirds.
New this year: We would like to try to get a count of how many
women are playing. So please e-mail Beth Bahel at bbahel@comcast.net to let her know you are playing. Then Beth can inform the club of participation. Beth’s phone number is 410-344-0288, but she would prefer an email.
